Ms. Kimberly Gardner was chosen Columbus Municipal School District Administrator of the Year. Ms. Gardner is the principal of the #1 ranked school in CMSD, Stokes-Beard Technology and Communications School. Ms. Gardner was recognized in Jackson for CMSD Administrator of the year.

A total of 96.8 percent of Stokes-Beard third-graders taking the reading assessment test that is now required for them to move into the fourth grade passed the test they took this school year.
