Stokes-Beard is an Elementary Technology and Communication Magnet School located in Columbus, MS. We serve over 400 students in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth. Currently, we have twenty classrooms. Our school has a gifted education program and serves special needs students through both full inclusion and a resource room.

At Stokes-Beard, students learn Mississippi College & Career Readiness Standards through a rigorous direct instruction curriculum. This affords students endless opportunities to communicate and work cooperatively while exploring relevant, real world topics. Technology is used to enhance the curriculum at our school. Students use state-of-the-art technology each day to enhance their instruction. Learning new information is always just a "click away" at Stokes-Beard!
